Bitcoin (BTC) price seems to have started a new attack at the time this article was written. The world’s largest cryptocurrency suddenly gained more than 2% in the last few hours and hit $44,700 on Binance.

With the latest rise, BTC price increased its daily performance to 3%.

However, the attack in the BTC price could not show itself sufficiently in altcoins and the ETH price increased by only 0.33% in the last hour.

On the other hand, Dogecoin (DOGE) became one of the ones that gained the most value among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies. DOGE gained more than 3% in the last hour.

There is interesting data on cryptocurrency liquidations. There was a liquidation of $25 million in the cryptocurrency market in the last hour, of which $24 million was in short positions.

In the last 24 hours, the total liquidation amount reached a surprising amount of 140 million dollars. Of the positions liquidated in the last 24 hours, $102 million was in short positions and $47 million was in BTC. Ethereum ranked second with $17 million, and Solana ranked third with $8.9 million.
